Hellboy, The Trial, Les Miserables, and Mission Impossible are just four of the Hollywood Films shot in Prague.
The capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, is one of the interesting and gorgeous cities I have ever seen from its ancient architecture and rich eastern Europe history!
and the following are the 10 Reasons Why You Should Visit Prague
1. The Old Town Square
Prague’s Old Town is the heart of the city that remained almost untouched since the 12th century. The square is full of musicians, vendors and has its incredible atmosphere!
2. The Astronomical Clock
During the Middle Ages it was considered one of the wonders of the world, but it still amazes people nowadays! This astronomical clock was one of the main reasons why everyone wanted to visit Prague!
3. Charles’ Bridge
Named in honor of Charles IV (Karl) in Prague, this bridge being the most important of all. Best explored at dawn!
4. Prague Castle
5. Best City View
When taking an exit to the hill after visiting the Prague Castle, don’t forget to stare at the best city viewpoint it offers!
6. Lucky Statue
Believe me, when I say, you don’t wanna touch that “shiny thing” in the pool of thousand faces!
7. Street Foods
It’s best to taste the local foods (and beer) of the country where you’re at!
8. Boating in the River
9. Visiting Jewish Quarter
If you are interested in the holocaust subject, take this tour. You just need to pay additional $5 for taking pictures.
10. Museums and hundreds of them just anything!
Andy Warhol Museum
Sex Museum
Chocolate Museum
Medieval Torture Museum
Mozart Concerts
They’re playing every day – it is normal here. Also, they’re selling tickets as low as $15.
Prague At Night
If you are a night person, this city is best suited for you. Prague by night is absolutely romantic and unforgettable..
Impressive, huh?
Thanks for reading my post! Have you been to Prague? How do you find it?

Prague is a beautiful city, always giving me great feelings
I remember when Prague wasn’t crazy busy. When you could easily walk across Charles Bridge. I was there in July 2018 and it was crazy busy.
Can’t agree more with you, Kate. I also think that Prague is one of the prettiest city I’ve visited. It looks even more stunning at night when all the lights are on. I’m thrilled you mentioned some of places I didn’t get to visit last time like the Jewish Quarter and the Medieval Torture Museum. I would definitely check them out next time 😍
Quite a comprehensive post about the top sights of Prague. I live in Berlin and have been to Prague several times – therefore I have seen most of your suggestions. But the pictures brought back memories. A place I went to more than once is the Jewish Quarter – it has so much atmosphere and history. I also enjoyed a puppet show!
I love Prague for its historical touch, quirky flair and food! You have captured all of it so beautifully in your post. I didn’t know of the lucky statue before this post btw!
Loads of great reasons to visit Prague. What a beautiful city. I’d be all over going to the chocolate museum! We went to a torture museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia and marveled at all the ways man can think of to torture and kill other human beings.
I think that I’d visit Prague just for the Astronomical Clock – pure magic! 😍 And probably also to see the castle and visit all the museums. I wonder how many people have touched that “shiny thing” haha😂😬🙈
Prague has a museum for everything! Sex, chocolate and torture, oh my! Between Prague Castle and the Astronomical Clock, I didn’t know where I wanted to visit first! But then I saw the pictures and I knew I should start off my trip with some good luck. Looks like a few other people have too. And there’s street sausages! Thanks for the travel inspiration.
Prague is one of my absolute favourite cities. When ever people who are planning a trip to Europe for the first time and they ask me which city they should visit first my answer is alway Prague. It’s not expensive, easy to navigate, great food and even better beer.
I’ve been to Prague several times and it is a beautiful city. If you go in winter you can also experience the Christmas Markets at the Old Town Square and the castle.
