TOP 10 Things To Do in Bali with a Baby

I’ve made my first blog about Bali – but it’s more of its cultures, traditions, and ancient arts. (Click here to see) As a parent, I want to share our experiences in traveling with a baby in Bali. I always say that having a baby will entirely change everything in your life – including your itinerary! So check this out!

1. Enjoy the luxury of your chosen beach resort

For us, it’s the Prama Sanur Beach Resort (Sanur) and Hard Rock Bali Hotel (Kuta) can’t add more words to our experience here but a perfect 5-star!

2. Birds and Reptiles Park

This is a must-see if you’re traveling with children – yup and it’s not another boring bird park – birds here are from different continents around the world! Have you seen a bird with a mustache? What about a bird with an eyeliner? A bird with a brushed-up hairstyle? Oh dear. Don’t miss it. Reptiles are also very interesting because you can be up close to them!

3. Take a walk in Bali’s Oldest Village

To see their most ancient and very interesting culture since the 16th century from religious rituals and handcrafted souvenirs!

4. Visit the Blasinga, Waterfall

It’s a 10-meter waterfall and a little steep – so be careful. Best to go when it’s sunny. Bring your baby carrier!

5. Market Bargaining in Ubud

Teach your kids to get a good deal at a very young age!

 6. Zoo Time!

What is your childhood without a zoo or Safari experience?

7. Visit a temple or two

Pay respect to Bali’s most revered temples by wearing a “sarong” or more like a skirt – observe and take photos!

8. Shopping with your baby!

Support local but can’t help but find cheap original brands here!

9. Watch Bali’s Traditional Dance

‘Coz your baby’s entertainment matters!

10. Chill with your baby!

What else you go on a vacation for? Different restaurants in Bali are commendable for a chill-out zone because of the beautiful designs to see and comfortable surroundings!

We’ve spent 12 joyful days in Bali – it’s a little challenging (all traveling moms know it) yet rewarding especially when you heard your 1yr old’s trying to describe an elephant! Well, we never know that our kids one day will educate us about these all!

Thanks for reading my post! Have you traveled to another country with children? Tell me how it went!

  1. First time I visited the Bali zoo, I actually thought that it would be a great place to visit with kids. So, I can only agree that there are so many interesting animals to see and even interact with. Great fun for the whole family. 🙂
So glad that you had such nice time at the beach with your toddler, but it’s also nice that you went to few temples together. I always thought it might be overwhelming for kids. But, there, you gave me few nice ideas, thank you.
Love your photos, you all look so cute together. 🙂

  2. Beautiful blog post and great ideas here. I am going on my first vacation this week with my daughter and cant wait to get out there and enjoy it. 🙂 This post is really inspiring as I am a little bit nervous about this week but I am sure its going to be just alright 🙂

  3. I absolutely love Bali and this is an amazing guide for families wanting to travel. As someone who has been there herself, I’d also love to add, if you go to Uluwatu, keep your child strapped to you because Monkey might steal your baby! They steal everything there! Hahaha!

  4. We don’t have kids yet but plan on starting soon-ish! I’ve always imagined that traveling with children us difficult but I want to do it anyway. Your post gave me hope that it’s not nearly as difficult as I’m imagining, lol. I hope you write more like this in the future!

  5. Wow Such a cool destination to do with a toddler! He has cooperated well with you and that is more commendable.
I would like to visit the oldest village there and spend a day with the locals. I have done some of the temples there but would love to visit some more. Shopping of course is an absolute yes! 🙂

  6. Looks like there are a lot of things to do in Bali. I could spend all day visiting the various temples! Would also enjoy spending time at the beach too! I would enjoy doing most of these and I don’t have children!

  7. What a great list of things to do in Bali with a baby! I commend you for having such an active holiday while keeping the bub occupied! I love the bird and reptile park, and a zoo is always a good idea with a child! Hanging out in the chill-out zones in a nice restaurant sounds pretty great for everyone too!

  8. Good job keeping so active on your vacation in Bali even with a baby in tow. I don’t have kids, but I traveled with my parents as a child and I think it helped me to be much more rounded and a much better behaved kid than a lot of others. At least that’s what other adults would tell me when I was a kid.
